A story of Combined Operations. Red cloth, black titles and vignette to front cover. Colour frontispiece, 10 other b/w illustrations. 7.5 x 5". 192 pages. Spine and corners are bumped and worn. Spine is browned. Board edges are grubby. Small address label to top of front pastedown. Frontis is MISSING. Front joint is cracked. Foxing and some fingering. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased. 3.75" tear between spine and rear panel. Rear panel and spine very grubby. Small pencil drawing to rear flap. Brown tape to folds on verso.

Peach boards, black titles and stag vignette to front. Colour frontis, b/w illustrations. 186 pages. A little bumping to spine. Cover edges darkened in places. Blank mark to rear cover. Top half of front endpaper is detached. Half-title and frontis are only attached by an inch at top. Front joint cracked. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Foxing, mainly to page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped, small piece of loss from bottom of front panel. Christmas sticker to front flap. Very grubby, foxed, mostly on verso.
