The first post-war Worrals story. Blue covers. Black titles. Colour frontis plus 6 two-tone illustrations. 192 pages. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Name and date in ink to front endpaper. Heavy foxing to prelims and textblock. A grubby mark to top edges of front endpapers. Price-cut wrapper has large piece missing to top of front panel which has been amateurishly replaced, the wrapper is grubby with a black ink spot to rear panel, creased and torn. Extensive repairs/reinforcements on verso of wrapper.
