Red boards, black title to spine. B/w illustrations. Biggles uncovers the existence of an International Criminal Network. Spine and corners bumped. Creasing to front board. Foxing to outer page edges. Price-cut wrapper is creased and edge worn with some chips.

Blue cloth with black titles. Colour frontis and 8 other illustrations. The first post-war Biggles story. Spine and corners bumped and spine faded. Top 0.5" of front free-endpaper has been neatly removed. Endpapers are slightly browned. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with small tears and creases to spine and corners and slight loss to top and tail of spine. Rear panel is very slightly grubby.

Name labels to front pastedown. Name and address stamped to front endpaper. Endpapers browned. Small splash mark to rear endpaper. Foxing to page edges. Small piece torn from the bottom of one page. Name written in coloured pencil to margin of page 42. Coloured pencil marks to a couple of pages.
