BIGGLES FAILS TO RETURN

Published by Hodder & Stoughton. 1st 1943. Slightly better than good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper.

Blue cloth. Colour frontis and full-page b/w illustrations. Front endpaper is a map. 223 pages. A little bumping to spine and corners. Spine faded with browning to either end. Nasty dent to outside edge of rear cover has split board in two places 0.5" apart. Text block has also been hit causing two lines of indentation and bumps to page edges. Covers grubby with a few marks. book leans to one side a little. Ink inscription and address to half-title page. A few small marks and fox spots to contents but many pages are clean. Dustwrapper has loss from top and bottom of spine and chips to ends of folds. Spine is browned and marked with small square of clear tape to front and verso repairing tear. Rear panel grubby, browned to verso.
