Orange boards, black title to spine. 221 pages plus 30 page book list to rear. Contains 5 tales including a Biggles story "The Ace Of Spades". All titles listed on verso of half-title were published 1935 or before Ex - library with library stamps to front cover, prelims and first page of text. Spine bumped and browned. Cloth split at top and bottom of spine plus 3" split at front joint. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Covers grubby. Rear joint and several hinges cracked. Small address label to front pastedown. Pierce of paper stuck to front endpaper. Endpapers browned. 1st page of book list detached. Foxing to prelims and page edges. Some grubby marks and a few pencil crosses to contents.

A little foxing and a few marks otherwise contents are generally clean.

Brown mark to rear pastedown (damp?). Foxing to endpapers, prelims and page edges. Some fingering to margins. Contained in a photocopy dustwrapper.
