- Nicolas Lazor, better known as Nick the Sheikh or Lazor the Razor, is one of the most plausible villains in modern society. Guity of most of the crimes in the calendar and on the run from Dartmoor, it is Biggles' job to locate him and lay him by the heels.
- But where can he start looking for such a slippery customer? Biggles takes up the trail in a Soho night club, but the scene swiftly changes to a lonely farmhouse in Hampshire, where events pile up to an unpredictable climax.
