Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Red boards, black titles. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. 182 pages.
Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Small bump to top and bottom of rear board. Spine a little faded and browned at top. A little foxing to page edges otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, chipped and creased. Spine is browned and and marked with a small tear underneath 'Johns'. Rear panel is grubby. Browning to verso.

- Biggles is asked to deliver 500,000 tons of rubber by Air Commodore Raymond. It is, to be taken from Elephant Island, in east Asia to India, as it is vital to the British war effort. A Chinese man called Li Chi brings details of the rubber to the attention of the RAF.
